Infant-Toddler and Preschool Programs
The Center for Developmental Disabilities provides a variety of early learning educational, therapeutic and behavioral support services to children from birth to kindergarten and their families. Services are center-based, community-based, or home-based depending on the program being provided. Our high quality center-based programs are inclusive in that they are intended for children of all abilities.
CDD participates in the Pennsylvania Keystone STARS program, a continuous quality improvement initiative and rating system for early learning and school-age programs. As programs move up the STARS ladder, they are providing even higher quality experiences, so your child benefits even more from the program. CDD is a Keystone Stars 4 site, the highest level in the STARS program.
Our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs follow the PA Early Learning Standards and utilize the Creative Curriculum. The Creative Curriculum supports a developmentally appropriate program that promotes children’s social-emotional development and learning in the core areas of literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies.
